Here I sit, typical trucking, spend hours sitting and waiting on shippers then have to run like crazy to make it to your next stop. This time I am sitting in warm Yuma, AZ, I guess that’s a plus. Situations like this are way to common in trucking, this is the main reason that I really doubt the FMCSA will ever be able to come up with real and safe log rules. Until shipper and Receivers start getting their act together and honor the same appointments they hold us too then nothing will ever change.
The news on radio this morning is all about snow in DC. Where’s that global warming they keep promising???
