Home for the Holiday

Sitting here in my big recliner, still in a turkey stupor from Thursday and leftovers. I hope everyone had a good and thankful Turkey day. :)

Black Friday seems to have gone pretty well in this area, the local merchants seem to be a bit relieved. No major incidences here like there was on Long Island where I see one person was killed by the stampede into a Wal-Mart. I thought everyone in New York hated Wally-World, I guess not bad enough to not shop there. I think all of my shopping will be on-line again this year, I hate crowds and shopping, either that or I’m too lazy to go to store.

In your shopping, don’t forget those that may not have everything. Think about the Vets that may be in a VA hospital that may not have much of their own. Sometimes the simplest gifts are the best.

Posting have been a little thin around the site lately, its just been low on the priority list of late. A little information burn-out and just working hard. Freight has been pretty good at my company but ones got to take advantage of any opportunity to run, so blogging time has been limited. I have also been working on a new site for my ham radio hobby, seems to be where all of the spare time has been going too in the last few weeks. You can find it at www.kd0ain.com, not really ready for prime-time yet but its coming along.

Everyone stay safe on the roads, remember the four-wheelers have their minds on shopping and not on that big-truck barreling down on them. Give them some room and be forgiving. Maybe even a smile and a wave(all five fingers, even if they can only use one). :)

I really relate to this California Cow commercial so I thought I would throw it in:
