Finally got a load that gets me out of Texas, nothing wrong with Texas, but I’ve been running there for the last few weeks. My only reprieve was a run home to test out student, then back to Dallas after that. By the way my student passed his CDL test and is now an official steering wheel holder. I’ll call him a truck-driver after he finishes his 60K miles that Prime requires before we let him out on his own. By now he should be teamed up with a trainer running team. It is nice having my truck to myself once again, I’m not sure I care to train again, at least not right away. I like the peace and quiet!
No student also gives me some extra time to get caught up on blogging. With the political season starting, things should get interesting. I also owe some post to Life on the Road, they’re on the way Wayne. The trucking industry is heading for a major train wreck, with the Mexican truck issue and the problems with the log rules, we are in serious trouble in this nation. Be sure to check things out over there.
Got to get to bed, got to be in NC tomorrow and have a ways to go.
