Run Away, Run Away!!!

I’m just hanging out in Laredo this morning enjoying the warm weather. I delivered down here late yesterday and my re-load won’t be ready until later today so this gives me some time to relax and catch up on the news.

The dems are pushing their anti-war crap hard. They seem to be doing everything they can to tear down this country. Their non-binding resolutions to pull support from our troops and President are killing hundreds in Iraq. The more they crank up the rhetoric, the more emboldened are the terrorist setting off car bombs in Baghdad. The main-stream media is just fanning the flames with their coverage from Iraq. Doesn’t it seem odd that the only explosions and damage we see is from the city of Baghdad? Don’t these idiots in the press and on Capitol Hill see they are being played for fools by the terrorist in Iraq? The dems are being lead around by the nose by polls driven by the anti-government, anti-democratic forces in Iraq. It is sad that the dems are going to force us to lose the war by pulling out based on polls of people who are more interested in Anna Nicole Smith than the future of the nation.

One of the big pushers of the anti-war rhetoric is Obama. In a recent interview he said from the Des Moines Register

Obama, who said he has visited with the families of military personnel who have been killed in the war, said he regretted saying the lives had been “wasted.”

“I was actually upset with myself when I said that, because I never use that term,” he said. “Their sacrifices are never wasted…. What I meant to say was those sacrifices have not been honored by the same attention to strategy, diplomacy and honesty on the part of civilian leadership that would give them a clear mission.”

Looks like a bunch of political double-talk. It is clear to me that Obama does not understand the sacrifices made by Americans to defend our freedom and sustain this Nation! Can you see him as President and Commander-in-Chief? Obama, no matter how hard you try, you are not Lincoln.

I see Mitt Romney is going to announce today. You can catch his announcement here live at 0900 this morning. Good Luck Mitt!

Got to go grab some coffee and get going this morning. Everyone stay safe out there.

The greatest question in most Americans today is Why are we in Iraq? We were lied to. We are complaining about Iran helping the Iraq kill American however how soon do we forget that we supported the dictatorship of Semoza in Nicaragua for many years. When that ruthless dictatorship was over thrown we trained and financed the contras that were led by the same thugs that served the dictatorship. We as Americans must educate ourselves if we do not want to be led by special interest organizations in our country. I served during the Vietnam war, and I refused to follow our government blindly again. Our government has shown itself to be untrustworthy. I will fight and defend our country, but I will not give my life for special interest organizations. Why are we in Iraq? Remember one country’s terrorist is another countrys hero.

The biggest questions in most Americans mind today is; Why are we in Iraq? We were not told the trueth by our Commander in Chief. Our Commander in Chief is complaining that Iran is assisting the in killing American troops in Iraq by providing our military assistant to some groups. What our Commander in Chief does not tell the uninformed American public is that our government (CIA) has done the same thing all over the world. Stop crying and do what is needed militarilly to seal the borders and provend this.

Any one that is knowledgable in world history understand that all powerful countries in this world, the United States included have been Imperalistic and has blood on their hands. It is sad to noted that in our country many Americans follow our government leaders without question. It reminds me on how many Germans followed the butcher Hitler without questioning. In a democracy as ours it is incombunt that we not follow our political leaders blindly. If you think I am being unamerican, educate yourself with the history of Latin America and Africa. By educating yourself you will see why our government is not trusted in many parts of this world. Many times our leaders have served the interest of international corporations and not the interest of our country as a whole.

I am a Vietnam era veteran and I will die for the great people of this country, but I refuse to die for any special interest group, or anyone who has an agenda that is not in the best interest of our country. I will never follow blindly again.
