Cooling My Heels in Kansas

Like they say, “The best laid plans of mice and men (and truck drivers)”. Dispatch had planned to run me to Denver then grab a load of beef out of Colorado and head for home. Planned looked pretty good two days ago but I have run smack into this blizzard coming out of Colorado. I-70 is closed and nothing can move, it looks like Denver is a total mess even if I could get there. I’m afraid that even if I could roll to Denver there would be no-one at the receiver to unload me. May be a late trip home for Christmas for a whole lot of us stuck along I-70.

I’m going to see if I can get some pictures and post them after the sun comes up here.
Everyone stay safe and have a Merry Christmas.

Good Luck getting home for Christmas, I know I have my Mother and Brother are headed from Colorado to where I live in St. Louis and they cannot make it out on the Greyhound bus because the highways are closed
