Senate Stupidity

Just another example of how out of touch our representatives in Washington really are; Now the Senate is wanting to give Social Security Benefits to ILLEGALs. Are these people really that stupid or is it that they are doing anything possible to sabotage the very law they are creating. I have already heard the House will not even bother to work out a compromise with the Senate on the Immigration Bill. It is obvious to me that the Senate is trying to sidestep their responsibilities to the American people by fronting a Bill that is so bad the whole deal will fall apart in committee. We will end up going back to business as usual. More Illegals than ever!

That’s one of the things that living in Alaska gives . . . perspective. The whole illegal alien debate looks pretty posturing and contrived from up here. Did the definition of illegal change down there?

  2. Linda Murphy says:

I cannot believe that I have been working for 45 years and still cannot collect my FULL social security, but an ILLEGAL ALIEN can come into this country and they can gain access to the social security that is already dwindling down to nothing. I am tired of hearing about these people. I am concerned about the people that help build this country. How about telling every illegal alien the only way they can gain access to this country is to serve 2 years sin the military. Let them go over to Iraq. See how many stay in this country. I would bet my social security not even half would stay.

What are those idiots in Congress thinking of? (when they do think) Social Security was never intended to be a welfare program for illegals. Congressmen (and women) don’t have to worry about Social Security anyway. The money that many get from graft and kickbacks is never declared, and probably winds up in a Swiss bank where it’s nice and cozy and safe from prying eyes. I don’t accuse all those in Congress of such chicanery, but enoough do to tilt the whole legislative process What can we do? Find out who votes for this ridiculous bill and make sure that they never take office again!
