Well I called that one right. After delivering in Aurora, CO on Saturday, they ran me up to Ft. Morgan to pick up a load of beef and bring it to Oklahoma. What should have been an easy little 500 mi run turned into a real pain. I ran into some nasty winds coming across Kansas and into Oklahoma. The winds made it a real workout keeping this 75 ft long box-kite on the ground and on its side of the road. The wind was fanning a bunch of brush fires all over the place. I could really smell the smoke last night in Oklahoma City. Looks like the same system spawned a batch of tornadoes back home. While stopping at a little rest area in KS, the wind was blowing so strong that it blew down a tree right in front of my truck. Just a few feet closer and I would be replacing a hood.
I see the dems, Senator Feingold in particular, are wanting to censure the President over the NSA’s anti-terrorist spying program. Typical of the dems trying to weaken the country in a time of War by attacking the President on issues they were aware of and didn’t have a problem with until it became news. Just shows how weak they are on defending this country. Michelle Malkin talks about the games the Democrats are paying and check out Blogs for Bush and join the campaign to put an end to these partisan games that weaken our Nation.
Stay alert and stay informed. If we don’t pay attention to whats going on then we may end up with Hillary in the White House and Al Queda running the rest of the world.
