Just getting in a quick post this morning. Its a nice day here in South East Missouri, sure glad I got off of the East Coast this weekend. I see they are getting slammed with a snow storm today. I ran in snow most of the day yesterday but the roads were in good shape.
I stopped Friday night and watched the opening ceremonies for the Olympics. Whats up with Yoko Ono doing bad poetry, that had to be one of the most pitiful performances that I have ever seen. I know it was the Olympics getting a jab in at the U.S. over the war but I would have thought they could have found a better representative of their message than that. People were complaining about the Stones performance at the Super Bowl. Yoko set new standards for bad performances with her, ???reading???
Mark Noonan at Blogs fo Bush comments on an article in the Sunday Telegragh about U.S. planning for an attack on Iran. One suggestion I would make is to take a batch of press people up to Montana and publicly show about 20 Minute Man missiles being re-targeted to targets in Iran. I know we can change the targeting anytime we want on these missiles but we should make a big show of doing it. I doubt if the Iranians would care but some of the other Nations in the region might get the hint. We need to make it clear that Iran using a nuke on anyone would be the same as an attack on us and would result in total destruction of Iran. I doubt if it would stop Iran but it would be just one more bit of pressure we can put on the guys.
