More Ice Cream

I delivered a load out of Northern Alabama in Savage, MD this morning. I am scheduled to pick up a load this afternoon over here in Hagerstown that goes to Missouri for Sunday. As the blog title says its aload of ice-cream so I’m up here at Greencastle pre-cooling my trailer. The temp in the trailer has to be -5 degrees before they will load it. It also has to be washed out so I had to warm the box up from -10 to around 40-50 so they could wash it out without making ice, then bring it back down to -20.

Looks like they are predicting quite a bit of snow for this region tomorrow, 6-10 inches. Hopefully I’ll get West of the system before it gets here.

I have not had much chance to blog over the last week, it seems that when I had time I didn’t have a Wi-Fi connection and when I could get a connection I was in too much of a hurry. I have been considering getting a differant way to connect to the web through the cell system. Suggestions?

I was in Georgia the other day during the King funeral services. I think Mrs. King deserved better than having the likes of Jimmy Carter turn the services into a political debate. He has no right to speak badly of the President, his administration was a train wreck. If he had done his job and protected our people and interest in Iran, then these nut-jobs that are running Iran and threatening the U.S. and its allies now, would never have come to power. Just think of the people that have died from terrorism sponsored by Iran. Cater even invited a known terrorist into the Nations House in the form of Yasser Arafat. His policies lead to the end of Nuclear Power generation in this country; He allowed OPEC to blackmail this country instead of standing up to them. His energy policy was just put on a sweater and all will be well! He has audacity to bad mouth the President?
