Finally made it back to the south after slugging my way through a snow storm in Indiana and Ohio Thursday. I delivered in Charlotte, NC late last night then ran up to Wilkesboro to pick up a load of chicken to take to Missouri. I am scheduled to deliver at 0230 Monday morning. Indiana roads were something else the other day. I ended up pulling into the Petro in Greensburg when the snow started to pile up. I wasn’t having problems rolling but the four wheelers were having a hard time. I decided it was prudent to get off the road and out of their way before I got hit. We all really need to slow down when the roads get slick, sometimes I think some people actually drive faster when the roads are bad.
The Republicans have launched an answer to the left wing Democrats rhetoric for the last week in the form of an Internet ad featuring Dean, Boxer and a white flag. You can see it at the RNC website. Just remember “Retreat and Defeat is NOT an Option”. The Dems need to watch their fat mouths. If a politician in WW II had said the things Kerry did about our troops, he would have been tar and feathered by his own constituents. Maybe we should do so now, I’ll bring the feathers.
Might as well make this an Tackback Post.

When you say the roads in Indiana were bad, you mean worse than usual — cause I lived in Indiana for most of my life, and well, the roads in Indiana suck bad. It’s the only place I’ve ever lived where they can spend a couple of months fixing the road, and after they’re done, there are still as many bumps and potholes as there were before.

Indian roads. ::shudder::
I used to make the drive from Atlanta to Chicago and back again at least once a year. Indiana was the bane of my existence.
Thanks for the link, by the way. Since you’re not on the OTA blogroll, I’m going to add you to my personal blogroll, so you get the extra linkage (and hopefully some click-thru).
