My internal clock is all screwed up today. I had planned to sleep in this morning but I was up before dawn working on my blog. I am in Laramie, WY this morning on my way to Logan, UT for tomorrow morning delivery. It looks like its going to be a nice day out here, a little chilly but no bad weather. Going to try to take some pictures in the mountains today, may see some interesting critters along the way.
Fox News is talking that there are talks by the Presidents people about withdrawing Harriet Miers nomination to the Supreme Court. I really hope that they are seriously thinking about this. Miers may be ok as a justice but I think we can do a lot better. Miers was nominated when the President was under attack and being blamed for everything from the weather and causing tsunamis to clubbing baby seals. Hopefully Bush has come to his senses and has re-thought his nomination. The Supreme Court is too important to take the easy route.
Wilma is heading for Florida this morning. It should come ashore on Monday in southern Florida. Link Wilma is expected to hit Florida as a cat 2 storm. Tropical Storm Alpha has developed near the Dominican Republic. Alpha is the 22cd named storm of the season. This should add fuel for the global warming crowd, we will probably be hearing gloom and doom from them for months because of an active Hurricane season. Too bad none of them have enough sense to look back at the planets history.
Mizzou won big yesterday against Nebraska, 41-24. Of course the goal post came down!!!
That’s probably enough rambling for the morning, as you can tell I have not had my morning coffee yet! I am going to grab some breakfast and head it on west.
