Stopped in Grand Island, NE last night at the Bosslemans T/S. It was storming when I got here and rained off and on last night. Still heading for Reno, may talk to fleet manager in the morning about dropping load at our yard in Salt Lake City. I don’t have a problem with going on to Reno but it may make it difficult to get back home on Friday in MO.
I see hurricane Katrina continues to bear down on New Orleans, I posted on it earlier and added a web cam picture to the post. I am hoping the image will update throughout the day since it is a link to the gallery on mymain site . It should as long as LA DOT keeps the cams updated. I hope everyone stays safe down there in New Orleans. I really hate to see such a beautiful city and people hit by such a monster storm.
I got my grade back on the term paper I was working on last week, finally! Got an A!!! Yippee! Actually got an A for the course, that will help the old GPA, it needs all the help it can get. I may post a copy of the paper and one of the other assignments somewhere on the site so everyone can see it.
I have been experimenting a little with the Microsoft Word plug-in for using Word to post to Blogger. I understand there is a way to use it to post to other blog systems but have not figured it out yet. If anyone knows the hack to let me use Word to post to WordPress please let me know. I would much prefer to post from Word than from the online interface. I could write more often and more thoroughly if I could write on my computer then upload when I get a wifi connection.
Well I guess I had better get my act together and head it on west. Maybe I’ll get to a wifi connection tonight and post updates on the hurricane and an update on my progress.
