| Everyone is invited to check into the Friday night "Technology Net" held on the 145.270 repeater. The net is held every Friday night at 8:00 p.m. The net is hosted by the Raytown Amateur Radio Club and has been very popular. The net is brought to us via the 145.270 repeater's EchoLink node. Watch for e-mails on Friday on the NixaHams Yahoo! group advising of the topic for the week and the "expert" guest speaker. Past net topics have been D-Star, EchoLink, IRLP, How to Work Amateur Satellites with Your HT, and Remote Control Aircraft and Amateur Radio.
