Welcome to my site, a place dedicated to the growth and enjoyment of Amateur Radio.  I have been involved in ham radio for a couple of years now and have decided to put together this site to document my growth as a ham and to assist others just getting started in the hobby.  Be sure to follow along on my blog for the latest news and happenings going on in my ham life and check out the downloads section for some new and old software.

My Station

my shack

My HF station is built around the venerable Kenwood TS-520S HF Transceiver. A hybrid transceiver for 10-160 meters putting out 100w feeding a slinky dipole antenna through an MFJ tuner.

QSL info

I QSL via eQSL.cc, LOTW, via the ARRL bureau for DX and direct mail for US contacts.  I send a SASE envelope along with all of my QSL cards and appreciate the same.  If you are a DX station and need a card faster than the bureau please send a self addressed envelope along with sufficeint green stamps or dollars to cover the postage.

I urge everyone, especially if you operate in the digital modes to join eQSL.  Its fast easy and free.  I post contacts to eQSL immediately through my logging program.
